Kotelab provides a Data Processing Addendum to customers and prospective customers during vendor review, security review, procurement, or contracting.
About the DPA
Kote processes customer-controlled camera feeds, event clips, account configuration, and related operational intelligence to provide the contracted service. For enterprise customers, the Data Processing Addendum describes the privacy and data protection terms that apply to this processing.
The DPA is provided on request so that it can be reviewed in the context of a customer’s deployment, region, procurement process, and applicable customer agreement.
The DPA generally covers
- Customer and Kotelab roles for personal data and customer-controlled video data.
- Processing instructions, permitted purposes, and product-related processing activities.
- Security measures, access controls, retention, deletion, and return of customer data.
- Support for data subject requests, customer audits, and privacy inquiries where applicable.
- Sub-processor use, cross-border transfer safeguards, and incident notification commitments.
